Difficult Times

Things have been difficult over here as of late. Hence, the absence in writing. Our family has been majorly preoccupied with Camden's medical issues. We have been faced with decisions that we never dreamed we would have to make. Camden is having surgery on Wednesday. They are replacing his ND tube with a GJ tube and also doing a nissen fundoplication. I am hoping and praying that this is the beginning of the road to a better quality of life for him. It has been tough and left me in a mood where blogging is the last thing I want to do. However, I realize that there is strength in numbers and am hoping that maybe someone will see this post and know someone that has gone through something similar and can share their experience or maybe has experience themselves. I will be back sooner rather than later with updates as to how Camden is doing. Until then....

Boy Or Girl?

We had our ultrasound yesterday and found out what we're having. I'll admit. I was surprised, actually more like shocked. Looks like I'm going to be buying another pair of these......

We are having another boy!! I can hardly believe it. I was SO sure that I was pregnant with a girl that I had all the babies clothes laid out on the dresser to take to the consignment shop, hadn't really even thought of a baby boy name, and started looking at girl crib sets. I was thinking about all the pretty ways I was going to style her hair and all the cute little dresses that she would wear. Sigh. Oh well, I am very happy and feel very blessed to add another little boy to our family. 3 baby boys and one teenage girl. I believe our family is now complete.

Busy! Busy!

Time has just seem to gotten away from me over here. If I'm not taking Carly to cheer or Camden to yet another Dr's appt, then I'm busy chasing Chance or trying to squeeze out an illustration in any free time I have. I have found some time, however, to decide that my current diaper bag is to heavy and big. I know. I can't believe I'm saying that it's to big, especially with a third baby on the way. However as much as I love it, I need something that is not going to put dents in my shoulders.

This is my current bag. Like I said before, I love this bag. It's so cute, but I never imagined it would be so bulky!

I found this cute little number and am thinking that it might just fill the bill. However, I like these other ones as well........

I'm not a big Coach girl, but I think this one is kinda cute.

I also thought this little one was cute but maybe just a little to small.

I also am liking this one as well.

So many choices!!! I don't know how I'll ever chose.

Pictures From The Last Few Days

Life has been hectic over here, as usual. I've been trying to work in some time to work on some new illustrations but the babies are keeping me very busy. I believe we have an early appearance of the terrible two's or whatever it's called. Tantrums, screaming, running off in anger, etc are a common daily occurrence in our house. It can definitely be trying at times that's for sure. I have been feeling better overall, which I'm thankful for because I need as much energy as possible to keep up with these two. The weather has been so nice out! Tomorrow the babies and I are going to plant some flowers outside! I love that we can plant flowers in February here!!

What A Surprise!

So, I've been going on and on for weeks and weeks about how busy I am over here. Where that is all completely true there has also been something else that has been going on over here as well. A few weeks ago, we found out about this little surprise..............

What a surprise! Seriously. First off, we are totally happy and feel so blessed. However, I am still trying to catch my breath and come to grips with the fact that I am going to have 3 babies right in a row AND a teenager. It makes me tired just thinking about it. Not to mention the fact that we have been going through all these health issues with Camden it scares me a little bit when thinking about having another baby. My mister and I had talked about having another baby before, but after everything with Camden we new it was a distant, if ever, thing. Obviously, God has other plans because we couldn't have been being more safe, if you catch my drift. Seriously. Anyways, I thought I would share this bit of happy news with you and hope it explains my lack of blogging or being around. The being around thing is going to change too because I am finally feeling a little more human again. =) I hope everyone is having a great week, and I'm off to go eat an apple for like the billionth time today. Cravings. ;)
